20 years of motorbike culture with heart - from the Triumph Tridays to the Club of Newchurch

What began quite modestly in 2006 with the Triumph Tridays has grown over two decades into something that was far more than just a motorbike festival. It became a way of life, a community - and above all: a place where people came together who were united by more than just the sound of their machines.

After eleven legendary years Triumph Tridays and nine intensive years Club of Newchurch 2025 marked the end of a chapter that not only shaped the motorbike world, but also village life in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. Because the special thing about this festival was never just the line-up on the stages, the comedians and the guided tours, test rides, exhibitors or the custom bikes on the boulevard - it was the Atmosphere.

The Newchurch Spirit is hard to put into words - but anyone who has been there can feel it. A festival in the centre of townnot in a shielded car park. Instead: open doors, cosy pubs, warm encounters at eye level. Hotels, cafés, shops - the whole of Neukirchen lived and loved this festival. Every year, the locals looked forward to the many colourful visitors, many of whom have long since become friends - some have been coming for years, not just for the festival, but also for hiking, biking or skiing. At the club evenings, people talked, laughed and chatted late into the night - conversations between like-minded people that led to real friendships.

This Newchurch spirit is the foundation - supported over two decades by hundreds of courageous helpers, motivated guides and an impressively open, friendly village community. The tour guides not only knew the most beautiful routes, but also became real companions over the years - some even became long-time friends. Together with Triumph, Uli Brée and the tourism association, an event was created that has been loud, different, lively and yet familiar over the years and even after the brand opening in 2017. Comedians, walking acts, spontaneous performances along Neukirchner Marktstraße - they all brought humour, surprise and lightness to the days. And at the flashy Rokker Races, Club Hyper always ensured safety and good humour with a watchful eye, a lot of heart and a pinch of madness. It was a place where differences didn't matter - but community mattered all the more.

A special thank you The special mention goes to Uli Brée, the creative mind and passionate motorcyclist & designer who has shaped the path of this extraordinary festival with vision and passion over the entire 20 years.

The event organiser was and remains the Neukirchen Tourist Office with its dedicated and experienced team around Robert Möschl (Chairman, ORGA, Planning, Realisation ...), Ingrid Maier-Schöppl (GF, ORGA, Finances), Angelika Lerch (Booking, Dealers, ORGA), Vanessa Scharler (Guided Tours, Testrides ...) and the many invaluable volunteers.

The last edition of the Club of Newchurch was celebrated in 2025 - with everything that goes with it: music, bikes, emotions and a loud "THANK YOU" to everyone who was there. And even though the doors of the club are closing the Newchurch spirit remains.

We would have found it a great pity if everything that makes up this spirit had simply ended. We are therefore all the happier that with 1000PS have found a strong, new partner - and with The Newchurch Summit can usher in a new era from 2026. The spirit lives on. New chapter, same heart.
